Embodied AI Platform · 3D Multi-line SLAM Navigation Stack

Turn a mobile chassis into a robot that actually gets work done. Self-developed 3D multi-line LiDAR SLAM, multi-sensor fusion, dynamic obstacle avoidance and embodied decision-making — one stack driving 7 chassis structures, cleaning robots, composite robots and dual-arm wheeled humanoids.

Platform Overview

Platform Overview

We do not build a generic big-data platform. This page describes the four-layer algorithm and software stack that lets a robot see, localize, move and understand — fully self-developed, trimmable per robot form, and reused across several product lines.

Sensor Fusion

3D multi-line LiDAR as the primary sensor, optionally with front/rear dual LiDAR, depth cameras and ultrasonic radar for 360° stereo perception without blind spots; point-cloud pre-processing, ground segmentation and multi-target tracking output a stable traversable area.

Localization & Mapping

LiDAR-inertial fused 3D SLAM builds a 3D point-cloud map in real time. No reflective plates, magnetic tape or QR codes required; 10 mm re-localization accuracy and continuous navigation across large sites and multiple floors.

Planning & Avoidance

Global path planning combined with local dynamic avoidance lets the robot pass under overhanging objects and through narrow aisles and low obstacles; automatic elevator riding and auto-docking enable end-to-end unmanned operation.

Embodied Decision

Integration with DeepSeek, QWQ, ERNIE Bot, Spark and ChatGPT. Voice commands are semantically parsed and decomposed into tasks, then handed to the navigation layer — so the robot understands human phrasing such as "go to meeting room 3".

Architecture

System Architecture and Data Flow

Sensors to actuators form a single one-way pipeline; data logging and OTA run as a side channel. Each stage can be trimmed or replaced without affecting the others.

System architecture and data flow
System architecture and data flow
  1. Sensor input: 3D multi-line LiDAR as primary, optional depth camera, ultrasonic and IMU
  2. Perception and fusion: point-cloud pre-processing, ground segmentation, clustering and multi-target tracking
  3. Localization and mapping: 3D SLAM, re-localization, map management and update
  4. Planning and control: global path, local dynamic avoidance, speed smoothing
  5. Chassis execution: differential, 4WD, omnidirectional and Ackermann drive types

For Developers

Open to Developers

Native ROS / rosbridge WebSocket interfaces with complete Topic / Service definitions from chassis to application, plus examples in Python, JS, C++, C, Java, C# and Go. The same stack already runs on 7 chassis structures — N5 / OW / S / X / X2 / ACK / MW. Changing the form does not change the algorithm, which is why ODM delivery can be fast.

Deployment

Deployment and Delivery Process

Standard projects follow the sequence below. Actual timing depends on site complexity and customization scope — 15–25 days for standard models, 45–60 days for custom ODM.

  1. Requirements and site survey: floor area, aisle width, floor material, elevator and access control
  2. Mapping and calibration: on-site scan and mapping, sensor and chassis calibration, accuracy verification
  3. Interface integration: ROS / rosbridge integration with the customer system, end-to-end business flow
  4. Acceptance and training: confirm functions and metrics against the checklist, including 2 free training sessions
  5. After-delivery support: 12-month warranty · ≤4 h weekday response · 48 h spare-part dispatch
Boundaries

Boundaries and Applicability

No single SLAM stack fits every environment. Being explicit about what it does and does not handle is more useful than staying silent.

Where it performs well

  • Indoor spaces with stable walls and structural features
  • Aisle width no less than the chassis diagonal plus a safety margin
  • Moderate dynamics: people around but avoidable
  • Retrofit projects that need marker-free, fast deployment

Environments needing extra measures

  • Large glass curtain walls and mirrors: sparse point cloud — use markers or add sensors
  • Long empty halls: geometric degeneration — requires intervention or added features
  • Outdoors under direct strong sunlight: unfriendly to depth cameras and ToF
  • Abrupt floor changes or long stretches of slip: odometry drift — slow down or add features

Compared with open-source stacks

  • Entry barrier: open source is free but needs tuning and integration; this platform works out of the box
  • Negative and overhanging obstacles: usually custom-built on open source; built in here
  • Accountability: no SLA from a community; warranty and response commitments here

FAQ

FAQ

No reflective plates, magnetic tape or QR codes. LiDAR SLAM maps and localizes directly in the real environment; moving to a new site only requires a new map, with no civil works.
Yes. The platform exposes standard ROS / rosbridge interfaces and supports secondary development and joint customization; please contact us to confirm the specific cooperation model.
LLM inference can run on an edge computing unit or a local server; the chassis side only needs standard interfaces. Which models to use and where to run them depends on the scenario and compute budget.
